The Zahira College Colombo conducted Motivation Session on the theme of “ Daruwanta Ratak – Ratata HetaK “ by the renown motivation speaker Brother Charles Thomas was held at the Ghaffoor Hall, Zahira College on Thursday November 23 under the patronage Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikkar.
This programme with captivating poems and songs, he united diverse schools, transcending ethnic boundaries.
The objectives of this mission is to inculcate values of patriotism among the senior students.
The large number of students from various schools such as Royal College, D. S. Senanayake College, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya, Hameed Al Husseini College, Darus Salaam College, Hindu Ladies College, Muslim Ladies College, Khairiya Girls College, Zahira College, Fathima Muslim Ladies College and other leading schools along with principals and teachers participated in he event .
Principal Trizviiy Marikkar presented mementoes to Brother Charles Thomas and religious dignitaries on behalf of the College.The Religious Dignitaries, Police Officers, Zahira College Deputy Principal (Administration) Mohamed Shazuli, Vice Principal Co-Curricular Activities Zeenath Ismail, Prefect of Discipline Muhiseen Ariff, Board of Governors Chairman Fouzul Hameed, Secretary Alavi Mukthar, Old Boys Association President Mohamed Shiraz, Secretary Nuzree Munsoor, Members of the Parents Teachers Association, Sectional Heads, teachers, old boys and students were present at the event.
